With the 'Plug & Work' principle, Schunk wants to make it easier to get started with lightweight robotics. Until now, its modular gripper system was only available for cobots from Universal Robots, but now the clamping and gripping technology specialist is expanding this portfolio to include gripper systems for cobots from Doosan Robotics and Techman Robot. Schunk is adapting components from its standard range to the various cobots. The customized portfolios include pneumatic and electric grippers, co-act gripper modules for collaborative applications and quick-change systems.

While the pneumatic grippers are particularly suitable for conventional automation applications, electric grippers enable a wide range of applications. The grippers in the Co-act series are certified for collaborative use. All components are prepared for direct mechanical and electrical connection and can be installed and commissioned in just a few simple steps. Plug-ins simplify programming. am
