Danish robotics pioneer with new management

On August 1, 2020, Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) will have a new CEO: The parent company Teradyne appoints Søren E. Nielsen (51) as President of the company.

After two and a half years as CTO, Nielsen succeeds the current CEO Thomas Visti. The decision comes at the request of Visti, who is embarking on a new career path.
Having served as CTO at MiR since January 2018, Nielsen already has extensive knowledge of the company and its organization. Nielsen has over 25 years of experience in senior management positions at international companies such as Danfoss and Siemens. The qualified mechanical engineer received his management training at McKinsey & Company.
