Comau and Reis Robotics sign cooperation agreement

Comau and Reis Robotics have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at jointly developing and providing advanced automation products and solutions for various industries based on a coordinated technical and commercial approach.

The collaboration combines Reis Robotics' proprietary control technology and multi-process automation with Comau's global industrial footprint and portfolio of advanced automation solutions and robotics. Another component of the agreement is the joint identification and development of additional market segments and technical applications where the combined expertise of both companies can add value. The initial focus will be on industries such as shipbuilding, intralogistics, gigacasting, battery production, heavy industry and critical infrastructure.

"The collaboration with Reis Robotics is an important part of our diversification strategy and further evidence of our ambition to bring advanced automation technologies to new industries and applications," emphasized Pietro Gorlier, CEO of Comau. "The synergies from combining our competencies will allow us to proactively respond to the changing needs of the market, where automation is playing an increasingly central role, and in particular to strengthen our presence in Germany, which is a key market for us."
