The three model series 'TX2-40', 'TX2-60' and 'TX2-90' are externally similar to their predecessors, but are lighter, stiffer and have a more powerful motor, making them more dynamic and energy-efficient. In terms of safety, the six-axis models in the series have their own digital safety encoder per axis and an integrated safety board. All safety functions are TÜV-certified and meet the requirements of safety category SIL3-/PLe. Every movement of the robot is monitored by sensors. All of the robot's coordinates, speed and acceleration are recorded in real time. The series uses configurable, safe I/O modules and real-time Ethernet fieldbus systems. This enables indirect or direct collaboration between man and machine. Like their predecessors, the six-axis robots have a closed structure with IP65 protection, while the wrist is waterproof to IP67.
