Comau
New Family of Cobots
Comau has announced the global launch of 'MyCo', a new family of collaborative robots, at Automatica 2025. The 'MyCo' family consists of six different robot models with payloads from 3 kg to 15 kg.
The design of the cobots enables seamless integration into dynamic environments, making them suitable for warehousing, intralogistics, packaging, arc welding and light assembly in key industries identified as part of Comau's ongoing diversification strategy. The robust yet lightweight design allows for easy relocation and repositioning, while IP66 protection ensures reliable performance even in challenging conditions. The cobots are equipped with advanced safety features, six degrees of freedom and precision with intuitive programming functions. The six different models have a payload of 3 kg to 15 kg and a reach of 590 mm to 1300 mm.
"With the launch of our new MyCo robot family, Comau is taking another concrete step to accelerate our strong diversification strategy," said Stefania Ferrero, Chief Marketing Officer at Comau. "We estimate that the global market for collaborative robotics will have a CAGR of 15% (2024 to 2028). This will be fueled by growing demand in non-traditional sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy and logistics, as well as increasing adoption in small and medium-sized enterprises. MyCo is a cost-effective and versatile response to these trends, as each of the six models allows us to deliver a highly flexible, user-friendly and transportable solution that supports safe and efficient operations in dynamic environments."
