Applications with no-code software

ArtiMinds Robotics presents new features and further developments of the no-code software solutions Robot Programming Suite (RPS) and Learning & Analytics for Robots (LAR).

Thanks to intelligent algorithms, force and image-controlled processes can also be created easily and robustly using drag & drop of predefined program modules. To demonstrate possible applications in the field of advanced robotics, ArtiMinds will be showing various applications with robots from Kuka, Fanuc, ABB and Universal Robots at its stand.

At the UR live demo, visitors can program a force-controlled application themselves, in which a hydraulic valve is to be joined into a tight fit, and test the degree of difficulty of the joining process themselves.

An ABB robot model will demonstrate how the CAD2Path feature can be used to automatically create tool paths for complex contours based on CAD models.

For live teach point optimization during end-of-line testing, a Kuka robot inserts a flexible test cable into electronic components and removes it again. The components move back and forth on workpiece carriers on a linear axis. Since the workpiece carriers have different tolerances, the robot automatically optimizes the approach position and cycle time to compensate for drift.

The fourth demo involves a bin picking application without regripping, in which a Keyence bin picking system is used to detect unsorted components, which are gripped by a Fanuc robot and assembled using force-controlled joining strategies. This allows small inaccuracies to be compensated for during picking, which in turn makes the additional process step of 'regripping' superfluous.

The new LAR demo acts as a data hotspot. All real-time sensor data from the four applications is automatically aggregated and the acting forces, tolerances and error messages are visualized and evaluated centrally on dashboards and via detailed analyses.
