The standard version offers a power consumption of <5 W at full load. The gateway enables any Internet applications to access remote end devices and intranet sites that can be connected via the VPN protocol suite. Networking with 3G/4G mobile networks takes place via an integrated modem, which ensures WWAN networking with Fast Ethernet data rates (100 Mbit/s). Local sensors and machines can be integrated into a network via an optional combo module for WiFi IEE802.11abgn, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). On request, application-specific extensions support additional protocols, such as the low-power wireless protocols LoRa, Sigfox, 6LoWPAN, Zigbee, NFC or even wired protocols such as USB, CAN, RS232 and RS485. Integration into a network management system is possible via the SNMP interface.
