Converting to LTE

GSM networks are changing, GPRS and UMTS are making way for LTE and 5G. To ensure that old 'GSM Scout' devices from Coniugo can continue to be operated in the future, there is the option of a cost-effective upgrade of the radio module to LTE CAT-M.

According to the manufacturer, this ensures continued operation for a long time, even with devices that are 20 years old. For new purchases, however, users can opt for a device from the new GSM Scout LTE generation. These are available in all designs of earlier devices and are based on an LTE CAT 1 radio module. With the help of a function extension, these devices can also be configured from a PC and are able to send and receive e-mails as well as text messages.
