Thanks to its compact design and voltage range of 10 to 36 V(DC), the device is particularly suitable for industrial applications. It can be integrated into networks using the built-in two-port Ethernet switch (10 Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s). It offers uplink speeds of up to 5 Mbit/s for data transmission and a maximum downlink speed of 10 Mbit/s. Up to 5 Mbit/s can be achieved via HSUPA and 7 Mbit/s with HSDPA. The top-hat rail housing with IP40 protection features a SIM card slot that works with SIM cards such as static IP-SIM, M2M-SIM or commercially available SIM cards. Thanks to 'Connection Management', the connection is continuously monitored and many network-related problems are solved automatically without user intervention. The 'WeOS' operating system with a 'Stateful Packet Inspection' firewall and an OpenVPN/SSL VPN client provides the necessary cyber security. Functions such as static and dynamic routing, RIP, VRRP, NAT, IPsec VPN and port forwarding are also on board.
