TeamViewer buys software company Upskill

TeamViewer has acquired the US software company Upskill, thereby further expanding its position in the field of augmented reality.

The shopping spree continues: TeamViewer is further expanding its augmented reality division with the purchase of Upskill. The US company offers real-time interfaces via smart glasses and other mobile devices, which enable digitalized work processes for skilled workers and maintenance teams, for example.

Upskill is present on the US market, where its customers include Boeing, Merck and the American Bureau of Shipping.

TeamViewer has been strategically investing in AR solutions for Industry 4.0 since 2020 and has already acquired wearable computing software company Ubimax from Bremen in this context.
