New management for machine automation

Eckelmann has appointed Oliver Baudson (52) as Head of the Machine Automation division as of April 1, 2022. In this role, he will assume operational management and profit responsibility for the sector, which includes sales, product development and application.

Another focus of Baudson's activities is the further development of the division through continuous strategic alignment, internationalization and the development of new market segments for Eckelmann's automation and digitalization solutions.

Baudson has over 25 years of experience in leading positions in plant engineering. Most recently, he spent eight years as Managing Director of the Cologne site of TSK, an internationally active Spanish energy plant manufacturer.

Eckelmann, Wiesbaden, is a medium-sized automation partner for machine, device and plant construction. The company focuses on the development and series production of optimized control solutions for machines as well as programming and system integration for control and automation systems. Eckelmann was founded in 1977 by Dr. Gerd Eckelmann and employs around 480 people.
