The graphic display terminal extends the Panelview Plus 7 family and is available in six screen sizes, including a new 19-inch format - the largest currently available from Rockwell Automation. The model also includes new keyboard features to complement the standard touchscreen. While the standard model supports applications with up to 25 screens and 200 alarms, the performance model is suitable for larger and more complex applications thanks to a more powerful CPU, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to the additional embedded Ethernet switch technology with two Ethernet ports, the graphic terminal can support a device-level ring (DLR) topology for higher availability. The graphic display terminal also offers enhanced mobile connectivity. Remote Desktop Services enable operators and plant managers on the production floor to connect to the central company systems, such as ERP or MES, via a thin client connection.
