The new CR1000 and CR3000 HMI operating devices from Red Lion Controls are available in sizes from 4.3 to 15 inches. Both products use Crimson 3.1 software, whose integrated library offers more than 300 industry protocols. Updated and expanded symbol libraries and primitives with anti-alias rendering and 16M color support give designers additional options for creating interfaces. Crimson 3.1 also includes new features and shortcuts that speed up database creation. From rearranging the order of primitives within libraries to make it easier to find the most frequently used elements, to allowing users to create a custom favorites list. With a built-in web server, the devices allow users to securely monitor and control their application via PCs, tablets or smartphones. SMS and email notifications provide early warning of process errors to avoid costly downtime. The HMI operating devices are housed in a polycarbonate enclosure and are designed for operating temperatures from -10 °C to +50 °C, offering shock resistance, vibration resistance and IP66 protection.
