Application examples for voice control

Operation and monitoring of medical technology:

  • Controlling beds and examination tables for CT/MRI via voice, e.g. raising and lowering, sitting and lying position)
  • Retrieving information from a database, e.g. during an operation
  • Documentation of activities in nursing and geriatric care or rehabilitation
  • Touch-free operation of devices in poorly accessible or sterile environments
  • Support for people with disabilities, e.g. visual impairment or restricted mobility

Examples from industry:

  • Natural collaboration with robots and in augmented reality applications
  • Control of machines and devices
  • Industrial automation, test and measurement technology
  • Contact-free operation of devices in poorly accessible or potentially explosive environments
  • Quality assurance, e.g. ticking off a checklist in any order

Examples for point of sales:

  • Information steles in shopping centers or service points
  • Vending machines in fast food restaurants
  • Contactless operation
