All product-relevant data is stored in Sigmatek's digital type plate and can be read out at any time in the form of a hardware tree using the Lasal engineering tool.
The data can then be further processed and displayed on the user interface. In addition, certain procedures can be defined in the application. At the same time, a process can be saved in the log file of the control unit and evaluated at a later time.
The serial number stored in the digital type plate is stored on the control unit via the application code directly before delivery and cannot be changed there. In the event of discrepancies, the boot process of the CPU is automatically aborted. This protects against product piracy and prevents tampering with the system by untrained personnel.
