Classic or widescreen formats
Schurter's portfolio includes TFT displays with screen diagonals from 1.2 inches to 110 inches, in the classic aspect ratios 4:3, 5:4 or in widescreen formats 8:3, 16:9, 16:10 as well as with TFT switching technologies such as TN, MVA, IPS, AHVA.
The displays are suitable for sunlight-readable outdoor applications. There are modules with transflective microfilms and backlights with a brightness of <1000 cd/m2. Modules with an extended operating temperature range from -30 °C (in some cases down to -40 °C) to +85 °C are available especially for outdoor applications. The LED backlights are mainly controlled via integrated drivers and DC-DC converters. Schurter Input Systems works with display manufacturers such as AUO, BOE, Giant Plus and Innolux. Partnerships with manufacturers such as Ampire, who develop module components themselves, enable a high degree of flexibility for customer-specific modifications such as backlight, viewing angle, interface and touch adaptations.
