Alexander Hermann, Product Manager for Pressure Measurement Technology at Endress+Hauser, was delighted with the award for the two pressure measurement devices and discussed the three most outstanding features of the products during the interview. The current status of the Namur test and further plans for the coming 12 months were also part of the conversation.

2nd place: Optris - High-speed pyrometer 'CT 4M'

Optris launches the CT 4M high-speed pyrometer with an acquisition time of 90 µs. It measures in the spectral range from 2.2 µm to 6.0 µm, making it particularly suitable for low-temperature measurements on metals, metal oxides, ceramics or materials with unknown or changing emissivity (measuring range from 0 to +500 °C). Thanks to a diameter of 14 mm and a length of 28 mm, the pyrometer's sensor head can be installed directly in a machine, for example, even where space is limited. The Flowtrans US W ultrasonic flowmeters for liquids from Jumo are resistant to corrosive media. The 'Flowtrans US W01', for example, measures precisely in conductive and non-conductive media. The accuracy is ±2 % of the measured value and a temperature sensor is integrated. The device can be used flexibly thanks to its metal-free housing and the plastic pipe used in nominal sizes from DN 15 to DN 32. The nominal pressures can be up to PN 16 and the medium temperature up to +80 °C. More...
