[mu:v]
Measurement data via Profinet
With the Profinet-IO-Device interface, [mu:v] enables measurement data determined by the Optris PIX Connect software to be recorded and made available via Profinet.
Up to eight Optris PI/Xi cameras can be operated via the interface, which is equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor for short response times. Using the Profinet interface, the configuration can be transferred from the selected layout of the Optris PIX Connect software. This makes it possible to output up to 20 measuring fields per layout with data such as the position and temperature of the measuring fields. By changing parameters such as emissivity, transmittance, measuring temperature range, ambient temperature or the layout selection, the cameras can be controlled in a process-oriented manner. It is also possible to trigger a measurement via the interface with simultaneous image storage.
The 100 Mbit/s full duplex gateway from [mu:v] offers transfer rates of up to 1,440 bytes of input data and 1,440 bytes of output data. It requires a PC RS232 interface, optionally also with Ethernet. The operating temperature of the interface ranges from -25 °C (non-condensing) to + 85 °C. The device has electrical isolation on the bus side and requires a 10 to 33 V (DC) power supply with a maximum of 120 mA. The device can be mounted on a top-hat rail with protection class IP20.
