Dr. Marc Lünnemann becomes new CEO

Instrument Systems, supplier of high-precision light measurement technology and part of the Konica Minolta Group, has appointed Dr. Marc Lünnemann as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Lünnemann took over the position on January 1, 2026.

With more than 20 years of international experience in the lighting, automotive and display industries, Dr. Lünnemann brings extensive expertise in managing global business units. His professional career includes various management positions in medium-sized technology companies as well as in global matrix organizations, including as CEO of Osram OLED, Docter Optics and Novaled. His career has taken him to the USA, China, Korea and other international markets.

Dr. Lünnemann holds an Executive MBA and a doctorate (Dr.rer.nat.) in physics with a focus on light, optics and solid state physics. His areas of expertise include strategy, organizational and business development as well as portfolio and M&A management.
