Sensor+Test 2018
Focus on Industrial Internet and digitalization
From June 26 to 28, Sensor+Test will be taking place in Nuremberg - with this year's special theme 'Sensors and measurement technology in the Industrial Internet', among others.
The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement is expecting around 580 exhibitors at the association's own trade fair. In the exhibition halls, at the accompanying specialist congresses and in the forum and action program, visitors can obtain comprehensive information on the current status quo in sensor, measuring and testing technology. The trade forums in Halls 1 and 5, which are open to trade fair visitors free of charge, will feature a total of around 55 presentations, including a special session on 'Sensors and measurement technology in the Industrial Internet' on the first day of the fair. This will focus on the role of sensors, measuring and testing systems in networking and analyzing the operating data of machines, systems and processes. The special topic offers suppliers and users space for dialog on solutions and concepts for sensor and measurement technology in the Industrial Internet - at the special forum in Hall 5 and in the 'Digital Transformation' theme park.
Sensor+Test will be accompanied by two specialist congresses: According to the organizer, the 19th ITG/GMA 'Sensors and Measurement Systems' conference is the most important conference on sensor and measurement technology in the German-speaking world. It is jointly organized by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG) and the VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik (GMA) and is being held by the ITG on a regular basis this year.
For the third time - after 2014 and 2016 - the European Society of Telemetry is organizing the 'European Test and Telemetry Conference' (ettc2018) in cooperation with Sensor+Test. The ettc2018 - with conference and accompanying exhibition in Hall 2 - is a European platform for telemetry, test instrumentation and telecontrol.
