Dry in the right place

Flir has launched the MR176 Thermal Moisture Meter Plus with IGM (infrared-guided measuring aid technology). A short thermal scan shows users where the evaporation process is running too slowly.

This allows them to target their blowers and drying equipment to the right places. The meter gives them flexibility when taking thermal images and performing invasive and non-contact measurements, including four different thermal imaging color palettes, configurable humidity and ambient readings, and an integrated thermo-hygrometer with field-replaceable temperature/relative humidity sensor. This means that users can always carry a second temperature/relative humidity sensor as a spare, replace it directly on site if necessary and continue working immediately without downtime. Flir offers a complete range of accessories for the MR176 with compatible probes for taking measurements in hard-to-reach places - for example on rough or uneven surfaces, in cavity wall insulation, in subfloors or on hardwood.
