OVHcloud/Accenture
The goal of a sovereign cloud
OVHcloud and Accenture have signed an agreement to facilitate and accelerate the adoption of trusted cloud infrastructures for European businesses and organizations.
OVHcloud and Accenture finalize their cooperation with the aim of advising and supporting European companies and organizations in their transition to sovereign cloud environments. The partnership will be based on two pillars:
- Combining OVHcloud's industrial know-how with Accenture's integration expertise to accelerate the development and integration of trusted information systems in organizations. This strategy is facilitated by the international presence of both companies and the number of OVHcloud data centers that comply with various European data protection regulations, including C5 in Germany, SecNumCloud in France, Agid in Italy and G Cloud in the UK.
- Facilitated access to these services and expertise through the integration of OVHcloud into Accenture's Sovereign Cloud Center of Excellence network, starting in France (other countries to be announced). This presence represents a privileged point of contact with regulated companies and public organizations to understand and respond specifically to their sovereignty requirements. This sovereignty is ensured above all by OVHcloud's integrated, resilient and sustainable industrial model.
The alliance between OVHcloud and Accenture is designed to enable its customers to make the best choice in terms of technology and data location - with the same requirements for transparency, reversibility and accessibility of systems.
The background of OVHcloud
OVHcloud is a European cloud provider that operates 400,000 servers in 33 of its own data centers on 4 continents. For 20 years, the company has been using an integrated model that ensures complete control over the value chain - from the development of its own servers to the management of its own data centers and the orchestration of its own fiber optic network. This approach enables OVHcloud to cover the entire range of applications for 1.6 million customers in more than 140 countries, completely independently.
