CADFEM / Ansys
Test digital simulation live
On September 26 and 27, students at Amberg-Weiden University of Applied Sciences will be able to find out how computer simulation can be applied directly to research and development projects. CADFEM and Ansys invite you to the big live simulation student kick-off.
This year, students will once again be able to experience working with digital simulation and learn how to use the Ansys simulation software. Simulation experts from CADFEM and Ansys will present concrete examples of exercises that can be applied to projects. The two-day event serves as an introduction to Ansys simulation and is free of charge for all students. The workshops will take place on September 26 and 27.
In four parallel workshops, concrete examples will be used to illustrate how computer simulation can be applied directly to your own research and development projects. The workshops use selected questions to teach all the necessary steps for successfully carrying out a simulation. Experienced instructors and simulation engineers from CADFEM are on hand to assist with all exercises.
Student teams working together on a development can take part. Explicit knowledge of the software is not necessary, but basic technical knowledge is helpful. Important: Registration is only possible for teams and only with an official university e-mail address, not with a private e-mail address.
"The two-day event is the ideal introduction to Ansys Simulation," emphasizes Bettina Spiegel, Marketing Manager Academic at CADFEM. "Many students are already familiar with Ansys and can use the two days to deepen their knowledge and, of course, to exchange ideas with each other." A get-together event in the evening will provide a relaxed opportunity for exchange.
