Rockwell Automation acquires Mestech Services
Mestech Services, a global provider of manufacturing execution systems / manufacturing operations management, digital solutions consulting and system integration services, will become part of Rockwell Automation.
Mestech is a systems integrator with extensive experience in applying Rockwell Automation software-based solutions to manufacturing engineering. The company provides technology consulting services, solution design and implementation, support, asset management and staffing solutions for discrete, hybrid and process-oriented applications in a variety of industries, including life sciences and automotive.
"The acquisition of Mestech enables us to offer information solutions and networked services worldwide. In addition, we can now better support our customers on their digital transformation journey," said Matthew Fordenwalt, Vice President and General Manager, Systems and Solutions Business, Rockwell Automation. "India is one of Rockwell Automation's fastest growing markets. Mestech's presence and expertise will enable us to implement solutions faster and help our customers increase their connectivity, efficiency and productivity. At the same time, by joining the Rockwell family, Mestech will be able to leverage Rockwell Automation's products and solutions in control, process, energy information solutions and industrial IoT, including PTC's FactoryTalk Innovation Suite, to provide customers with the best possible solutions while minimizing risk."
Mestech was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Pune, India, with offices in Germany and the USA.
