The offerings are part of Dell Technologies' edge strategy and rely on fully integrated technologies to run and manage workloads across multiple clouds and applications. These solutions include, for example, the enhancedDell EMC Streaming Data Platform (SDP), which enables real-time analytics at the edge and is particularly suitable for capturing, storing and analyzing data streams at the network edge.

Another example is a reference architecture for edge solutions in manufacturing, which was developed together with PTC. This enables companies to gain new insights from data from workstations, mobile devices and other endpoints in production environments. They have centralized access to all information from edge systems and can use it to increase the reliability of their production lines.
