MES system for the cable processing industry
DiIT's 4Wire EAS (Extended Assembly System) is MES software for the wire processing industry.
It supports the heterogeneous processes of pre-assembly and final assembly. The software from DiIT is an extension of the manufacturing execution system '4Wire CAO' (Cutting and Assembly Optimization). Its central elements - materials, processes, articles, production plans, process-related data, quality assurance measures and devices - can be defined. Both product and process traceability are supported.
The software enables the connection of a large number of different devices. It supports the native interfaces of various machine manufacturers and also provides general connectivity solutions for connecting devices that only have rudimentary or no interface functionalities. A modern API enables the software to be freely integrated into existing IT landscapes. Only web front-ends are used as user interfaces for end users.
