MES becomes Industry 4.0
Dürr combines its production-related Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Ecoemos with the software solutions of iTAC Software AG, acquired at the end of 2015, to form the iTAC.IoT.Suite.
This is based on a modern software architecture and can be adapted to different production control requirements in the automotive, electrical and component industries (Tier 1). New functions are added to the proven Ecoemos modules for controlling automotive production - such as SCADA, warehouse control, vehicle tracking and energy and quality management. These include business intelligence, machine monitoring and order management. In addition, enhancements are available in the traceability module for detailed material tracking. The software suite also includes a module for order planning. All functions can be clearly visualized on screens. The suite also offers an analysis of all system parameters and thus forms the basis for future Industry 4.0 applications. Cloud connectivity makes it possible to merge data from different production sites across plants and evaluate it using modern analysis methods such as big data analytics.
