The new features include the tile look, intuitive touchscreen gesture control and full Unicode capability. According to the manufacturer, both dialogues and the visualization of production-related information can be individually adapted to the user's processes and challenges. The AIP 8.2 also displays international characters - for example Cyrillic, Arabic or Chinese. The new store floor terminal offers each user their own national language and should therefore ensure a high level of user-friendliness and lead to greater acceptance among workers. AIP stands for Acquisition and Information Panel - software that can be run on any standard industrial PC under Windows.
