'Cebit Innovation Award 2018'Award-winning apps have been announced
At Cebit 2018, Deutsche Messe and the BMBF presented the 'Cebit Innovation Award' to three innovative app developments - including an app for finding a parking space. Anja Karliczek, Federal Minister of Education and Research, presented the prizes to the teams.

The team behind the 'DIVERA 24/7' app was awarded a practical prize, which the jury endowed with 20,000 euros. With their development, they are providing an important tool for emergency response teams, e.g. volunteer fire departments: 'DIVERA 24/7' can be used to access the availability of emergency services across the board so that they can act quickly in emergencies. The app primarily benefits fire departments and rescue services, but personnel planning in other areas such as crisis management can also be optimized using 'DIVERA 24/7'.
