The team led by Johannes Riedel and Mathias Rudnik receives the main prize of 50,000 euros in the 'Cebit Innovation Award 2018' for their app 'AIPARK'. The development helps drivers find a parking space: the app shows where free parking spaces can be found nearby. It uses a dynamic data pool containing around 60 million parking spaces. This can reduce traffic in cities and reduce environmental pollution.
