Honeywell wants to take over Intelligrated
For a purchase price of USD 1.5 billion, the Honeywell Group, headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey, would like to acquire Intelligrated, which is also based in the USA. The latter specializes in supply chain and warehouse automation.
With its Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and software solutions, Intelligrated will complement Honeywell's product portfolio of barcode scanners, mobile computers and voice-enabled software. Upon approval of the transaction, Intelligrated is expected to become part of Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions (S&PS) in the Automation and Control Solutions business unit.
Intelligrated was founded in 2001, is headquartered in Mason, Ohio, and employs approximately 3100 people worldwide. Over the last three years, the company has grown by an average of 13%, and the sales forecast for the current financial year is around 900 million US dollars.
