CeMAT logistics trade fair
In future every two years parallel to the Hannover Messe
The biennial CeMAT trade fair for intralogistics and supply chain management will run concurrently with Hannover Messe from 2018. According to the organizer, Deutsche Messe, its focus on Industry 4.0 makes it an excellent thematic fit with Hannover Messe.
From 2018, CeMAT will take place at the same time as the Hannover Messe - this was announced by Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe AG, Dr. Christoph Beumer, CEO of the Beumer Group, and Sascha Schmel, Managing Director of the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association (from left to right).

This gives Hannover Messe a new anchor for its somewhat weaker visitor years, which thematically covers an important part of the Industry 4.0 value chain. "With around 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world, CeMAT is the leading international trade fair for a rapidly growing industry that achieved a production volume of EUR 20.1 billion in Germany alone in 2015," explains Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe AG. "Intelligent intralogistics is the backbone and enabler of Industry 4.0, which is why there are close links to the Industrial Automation and Digital Factory themes at Hannover Messe. That is why we will be organizing CeMAT in parallel with Hannover Messe from 2018 onwards, in order to create a unique platform for Industry 4.0."
Hannover Messe and CeMAT will be held together for the first time from April 23 to 27, 2018. CeMAT can be found in pavilions 32 to 35 and in the adjacent halls of the exhibition grounds in Hannover.
