[ENG] With MKG BV, the Proalpha Group is bringing the number one in the Dutch ERP market to the DACH region, thereby tapping into new market shares in the metalworking industry. The acquisition is a strategic decision for both parties to bring together the industry leaders from two different customer segments. MKG will continue to operate in its traditional target markets.
The acquisition represents the first company acquisition outside the DACH region and also marks the start of the implementation of an internationalization strategy.

Headquartered in Hengelo, the Netherlands, MKG has been developing and implementing ERP software for cloud and on-premise operation for companies in the metalworking industry for 24 years with around 70 employees. In addition to the same industry focus, Proalpha and MKG also share a common technological basis with Progress Software. MKG operates in the Dutch, Belgian and German markets from its headquarters in Hengelo. More than 800 customers use MKG's ERP solutions.
