Rockwell Automation
Faster access to data
With FactoryTalk Historian Site Edition (SE) from Rockwell Automation, production employees can now access the data they need even faster. Faster access to data is made possible by client-side connection balancing and failback operations.
This distributes the user connections across several servers instead of having all connections run via a single primary server. Rockwell 's tool also offers user-based archiving scheduling. This allows users to schedule the migration to the historical data archive to take place during downtime or outside of business hours. Data is preferably archived when server performance and access times are not required for more important processes.
To better secure production data, all subsystems within 'FactoryTalk Historian SE' are now configured to operate with the least possible permissions. This minimizes the potential damage that can be caused by unauthorized users interfering with the system. The software also supports the latest operating systems, such as Windows Server 2019.
