Stagil

Lukas Dehling,

Digital teams are everywhere

The new hall concept at SPS IPC Drives 2017 also attracted companies that are not at home in the field of classic automation. Björn Frauen, Managing Director of Stagil, explains why.

Björn Frauen: "At our stand, we want to show how digital transformation and agile working can become a reality."

Mr. Frauen, what software products do you offer?

Frauen: Stagil supports all teams from companies of all industries and sizes with different solutions. We support users from the areas of software, marketing, HR or service and offer development, project and collaboration solutions with Atlassian products such as Jira, Trello, Bitbucket and Confluence. Our range of services extends from consulting and configuration to support - but we also provide assistance in developing our own solutions.

Was the new hall concept a decisive factor in your decision to take part in the trade fair as an exhibitor?

Women: Absolutely! Software and digital work is increasing in all companies in all areas and teams. The new hall concept offers us and other companies a great stage for many exciting products and ideas.

At which trade fairs have you been represented with your company Stagil so far?

Frauen: As a major partner, we accompany Atlassian at international trade fairs such as Cebit or well-known trade fairs such as OOP. We are represented at the manufacturer's in-house exhibition, the Atlassian Summit, in Europe and the USA.

Which products are of particular interest to visitors to SPS IPC Drives?

Women: Many teams want tools that support them in their day-to-day work - for example, to be able to plan or track better. Jira Core is a good choice for this. This software allows users to visualize their own workflows and move tasks from the pending tasks area to the completed tasks area using drag & drop, for example. Confluence and Hipchat are the right products for modern collaboration and communication. We can support teams that create and deliver software with Jira Software and Bitbucket. In support, Jira Service Desk with our versatile object and asset management Stagil Assets is very popular.

What will you be showing at your stand?

Women: We will be showing, for example, how Jira can be used to implement scaled product planning in accordance with the SAFe framework or how Stagil Assets supports the secure and certified mapping of object-based data in a system.
