Bringing machines to digital life

With FactoryWare Virtual Replica, Rex Automatisierungstechnik presents current software developments for the creation and dynamization of a digital 3D machine twin.

Virtual Replica accompanies the user and machine through the entire life cycle. The current version of the tool includes a collision check. This feature enables the surface-accurate detection and monitoring of machine components, products and tools in a system. This means that virtually all parts moving against each other can be monitored and displayed for a possible collision, even in real time. Axis movements, component dimensioning or tool positioning can be simulated in advance and monitored for possible collisions. The product flow display in the digital twin enables transparent visualization of the product during processing on the machine. Status data from sensors, data and communication interfaces as well as processed products are made visible.
