The latest member of the compact 'Melsec iQ-F' PLC series from Mitsubishi Electric is particularly suitable for simple applications, for example in the food and beverage industry, water management and machine manufacturing. End users and machine builders can use the small controller to develop cost-effective machines with up to 60 I/O points. These solutions support IIoT connectivity and functionalities. Data logging and data flow analysis functions are available to speed up and improve troubleshooting and root cause analysis. As the PLC has an integrated web server, operators can also monitor operation remotely at any time. Thanks to its compatibility with CC-Link IE Field Basic, an open industrial Ethernet technology, the controller can be seamlessly connected to other factory automation devices such as HMIs, drives and remote I/O.
