Managing director leaves the ship

After 37 years at Bucher Automation, Managing Director Michael Preuß is retiring from the company for personal reasons. His successor will be Stephan Pies.

Michael Preuß has been with Futronic since 1987 and has been Managing Director of the Tettnang-based control system provider since 2004. He has only just completed one of his biggest tasks - the change of name to Bucher Automation Tettnang last year. Preuß is now retiring from the company at the end of April 2024. His successor, Stephan Pies, currently Sales Manager and authorized signatory and a member of the management board since the beginning of the year, took over on 1 April.

Bucher Automation Tettnang is a provider of complex automation solutions for machine and plant manufacturers with a focus on the glass manufacturing industry. The company also designs and develops individual control and drive solutions in the fields of recycling and special machine construction. Bucher Automation Tettnang was founded in 1972. The managing directors are Stephan Pies and Christian Benz.
