Lenze has expanded the 3200 C controller platform: according to the manufacturer, the motion controllers for the DIN rail have received a 'performance boost' thanks to new processors. The controllers offer such high energy efficiency when controlling complex motion functions that the power loss is low. This means that the controllers also work without active cooling with fans and are therefore maintenance-free and robust. With this in mind, the company has also designed the 'i700' servo inverters for multi-axis applications to be fanless using push-through technology. Where no heat is generated, it does not have to be dissipated during operation. The result is a complete package of inverter and controller that requires no maintenance.
