SPS IPC Drives 2016New products in Nuremberg
What new products did the exhibitors present at SPS IPC Drives 2016? Computer&AUTOMATION provides an overview of what was on show in the Nuremberg exhibition halls this year.

Leuze Electronic is presenting a product portfolio extended by more than 20 components in the field of safe relays and safe controls. Many smaller safety tasks can be solved with the new safety relays - from the monitoring of simple components such as emergency stop or safety switches to the integration of opto-electronic sensors or the standstill monitoring of motors. With the 22.5 mm housings, the relays can be accommodated in the control cabinet to save space. Modules with adjustable time delay and contact extensions round off the range. The safe controllers of the MSI 400 product family in size 45 mm offer 24 inputs/outputs as well as an Ethernet interface and integrated Industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profibus and Ethernet-IP. The safety controllers are suitable for the safe monitoring of simple safety functions as well as for performing more complex safety tasks. The controllers can be flexibly expanded to up to 116 safe inputs and 56 safe outputs. The 'MSI.designer' programming software enables the configuration of every application of the safety circuit. A library of up to 40 certified function blocks is available for logic programming. Up to 300 of these can be freely integrated per project using drag & drop.
