Positive results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2019 at Siemens: According to Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser, the majority of industrial businesses contributed to growth - despite a decline in demand for factory automation and motion control.

Gas and Power' recorded strong order growth in the new installations business, particularly with a EUR 0.4 billion order for a combined-cycle gas turbine power plant including service in France and several major orders in the Americas reporting region. The increase in sales was driven by the service business. In geographical terms, there was growth in the Americas and Asia, Australia regions; this was offset by a decline in Europe/GANO.
