Contrary to the declines in production and turnover, exports (including re-exports) in the German electrical and electronics industry continued to grow in 2019. However, their growth was significantly lower than in the two previous years. Between January and November 2019, total industry exports amounted to €199.7 billion, which was 2.7% higher than in the previous year. Last year as a whole, they are estimated to have amounted to 216 billion euros. It was the sixth all-time high in a row. Around two thirds of exports remain in Europe, half of them in the eurozone.
