Bachmann achieves double-digit growth
Bachmann electronic closed the 2019 financial year successfully and is starting 2020 with positive expectations. The Austrian company is benefiting from the energy transition and the global rise in environmental awareness.
With growth of over 11% to around EUR 70 million, Bachmann electronic achieved significant growth in the 2019 financial year - despite the economic downturn in European mechanical and plant engineering, Brexit and geopolitical trade conflicts. The focus on future-oriented, 'green' technologies, which was introduced around 20 years ago, is the main reason for this: The company supplies components for the generation, distribution and storage of energy as well as solutions for the efficient use of energy and increasing the productivity of machines and systems. The portfolio also includes systems for reducing consumption and the environmentally friendly use of raw materials, for example in ship propulsion systems.
Bachmann electronic is planning growth of around 15% for the current year, driven by strong demand for the company's solutions in the Asian and US markets. At EU level, economic conditions will remain challenging in 2020. However, a positive trend is also expected in this market in the medium term.
