The valve terminal from Bürkert is suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotechnical applications. It also features integrated pressure sensors and pressure switches for valve status monitoring, pressure monitoring and an upstream valve for external shut-off. Performance level C can be achieved in accordance with IEC 13849. The permissible operating temperature range of 0 to +50 °C has been increased to 0 to +60 °C. Hot-swap capability, non-return valves and P-channel shut-off have also been optimized to increase the air flow.

At the same time, the valve terminal is more compact than the previous model and, in addition to ATEX and IEC Ex approval, will soon also meet the CCC Ex requirements for the Chinese market. As it can be seamlessly integrated into the ET 200iSP decentralized peripheral system, the I/O system and valve technology can be accommodated in a shared control cabinet.
