'PacDrive 3' provides a wide range of servo motors and drives, robotic components (delta and Cartesian robots) and motion controllers. In concrete terms, this means: motion functionality for up to 2600 centrally or decentrally driven servo motors or robot axes, fully integrated Ethernet-based real-time communication with Sercos III and intelligent and uniform software support for the entire machine.

The Schneider Electric platform has recently been extended to include 'Lexium SH3' single-cable motors and new functionalities for the 'Lexium 62' servo drives. With the same positioning accuracy and performance as comparable motors with a 2-wire connection, the single-cable motors ensure greater connection flexibility and reduced cabling effort. And thanks to the additional incremental encoder on the 'Lexium 62' servo drive, it is now possible to provide the real position of the servo axis for a peripheral device connected directly to the drive, such as a printer or camera system.
