The chassis is specially designed for the SBCs NANO-BT-i1 with on-board Intel Bay Trail SOC Celeron J1900 and model NANO-QM871 with Intel mobile Core i7-4700EQ and QM87. The low power consumption of the Bay Trail models results in fan-free operation and a temperature range of -20 to 60 °C. The variant is available with a maximum of 8 GByte 1066/1333 MHz DDR3L SDRAM. Two displays - VGA and HDMI - have externally accessible connections. The following interfaces are available: 2 x GLAN and optional WLAN 802.11b/g/n, 3 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, 3 x COM, VGA, HDMI and audio. SATA with 3GByte/s, a drive bay for 2.5-inch HDD/SSD, an internal PCIe mini card connector and a PCI-104 slot for expansions round off the functionality. A watchdog timer between 1 and 255 s allows a programmable restart. The SBC NANO-BT-i1 supports the IEI Remote Intelligent System (iRIS). A 12 V(DC) power supply is required, an optional mains adapter is available. Mounting brackets and VESA 100 allow mounting on the wall or in a control cabinet. The dimensions of the metal housing are 215 mm x 150 mm x 55 mm.
