According to the manufacturer, this is ensured by the combination of soldered RAM with 4/8 GB dual-channel DDR3L, ECC, the specification in the extended temperature range, optimized cooling solutions and optional protective coating. The interfaces provided by the processor, such as eight USB ports - including 2× USB 3.0 - and up to 4× PCIe lanes, ensure expansion options on the carrier board. Equipped with the Intel graphics processor core, 4K screen resolution for three different screen contents, 3D video processing and increased video encoding/decoding performance are provided. Flexibility is ensured by the optional eMMC flash memory and assembly options for either embedded DisplayPort (eDP) or LVDS and TPM. In addition, time-coordinated computing, virtualization and a variety of new functions provide the prerequisites for real-time applications and time-synchronous IoT solutions.
