Strategic partnership with start-up Senseven
i.safe Mobile, a provider of explosion-protected mobile devices and solutions, has invested a seven-figure sum in Austrian start-up Senseven as a strategic partner and investor.
Senseven is a developer of a software and AI-based mobile inspection system for industrial plants and was founded in Vienna in 2021 by Michael Hettegger and Christoph Altmann. In 2022, Anna Maria Grausgruber was added to the management team in the area of business administration. With the technology partnership, i.safe Mobile is intensifying its expansion course and, with the topic of artificial intelligence, is focusing on a trend that supports companies in transforming their business models in order to save time and costs, focus on sustainability and remain globally competitive. Both companies see the customer target group in the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas processing and other demanding industries in the ex sector.
"We are delighted to have gained i.safe Mobile as a strategic investor. Following the first successful product launch in 2022, the partnership is an important milestone for us. It enables us to expand the application into other industries and allows our customers to use the inspection software safely in potentially hazardous areas," says Michael Hettegger, CEO and co-founder of Senseven.
