In his previous role as Product Manager, René Al-Abid has been contributing to the further development of M2M communication services and software products for one and a half years. As Head of Product, he will now be fully responsible for Insys icom's product strategy.

"Today, industrial communication is inextricably linked to IT security and regulatory responsibility. My goal is to create products that are secure, traceable and compliant from the ground up - not as an add-on, but as a foundation," says René Al-Abid. "Insys icom should become the equivalent of secure and compliant industrial communication for customers and partners - especially in security-critical and KRITIS-related fields of application."

Most recently, René Al-Abid worked at Myra Security, a German provider of cyber security solutions for KRITIS and the public sector. With the expertise he acquired there, Insys icom brings IT security expertise from security-critical environments to its own product organization.
