New TQ Embedded boss comes from Kontron
Josef Fromberger has headed TQ-Embedded since January 1, 2017. He wants to expand the international business more strongly.
Josef Fromberger has been responsible for the TQ-Embedded division of TQ-Systems since January 1, 2017. He aims to further promote the sale of TQ-Embedded modules on an international level. TQ has modules with ARM, Power and x-86 architecture in its program and aims to take on a leading role in the x86 sector in the future. To this end, partnerships with leading chip manufacturers such as Intel are being intensified.
Josef Fromberger was most recently Vice President Standard Products at Kontron. He explains: "For embedded customers, three factors are particularly important: the reliability, quality and durability of the module. In addition to these product requirements, the good relationship between customer and module supplier plays an immense role. TQ is convincing in all respects. In addition, TQ is one of the few companies in the industry that has its own strong electronics development and production facilities. We therefore have the best prerequisites for expanding our embedded business."
